Trekking

From El Chalten, born many trails of various difficulty levels and durations can be taken leading us to the base of the Fitz Roy and Torre and bring us closer to views of Glacier Piedras Blancas, Laguna de los Tres, Laguna Sucia, Laguna Torre and Laguna Capri among other attractions.

Most of these trails can be covered in the day from El Chalten, but it is also possible to combine with overnight stays in some camps for circuits of several days in the mountains.

Sailing in Lago del Desierto and Trekking in Reserve Vespignani Glacier

El Chaltén is the perfect starting point for discovering also the Provincial Reserve of the Lago del Desierto, natural and virgin area near the PN Los Glaciares. Here, it is possible to hire excursions of Navigation and also combine it with hiking at the base of the Vespignani Glacier and to shores of the Lago del Desierto.
